Hacky Sack

Yesterday after leagues I went and got myself a new Hacky Sack, a Jester. It's purple and black with a jester on one of the sides. I chose it over a red and orange Sandmaster. The sandmasters don't seem to work as well for me. A group of friends and I always hack everyday before school, after, and during lunch so today I hope to break it in really well and get a feel for it. Between the 6 of us I should be able to do it and we always have random kids hop in and join us. Today if I don't end up liking my hack I got plenty of friends that are always willing to trade for something new. Hoping the hack is good.

Nuked

Was today a good day or a great day? Today was MY day a amazing day. Played Mod 2 for a little while and I ended up getting a nuke. It takes 25 kills in a row to get one and it's pretty hard depending on the map. It took me until the very end but I ended up getting it and ended the game with a win. Took me a chopper gunner and a harrier strike to get there but I made it for the 2nd time. The thing I really want those the moving nuke emblem so I need to get more 7 more before that happens. Looks like I got a lot more playing time ahead of me before I get those.

Leagues

Leauges was today and we were missing one of players Zach. He had messed up his wrist so he wasn't bowling this week. Matt and I had to face them alone with a vacant slot. The other team started  a 120 pins ahead of us. Matt and I both warmed up for ten mins I threw a five bagger in the begginning and he had a turkey but when the game started we played horribly. Out of all 3 games I only threw 13 strikes so I didn't get a new high score and Matt had multiple open frames. Thankfully near the end of all 3 games we both picked it up and won, but not by much at all. End of leagues came and we walked out the doors knowing we were still on top for another week.

Lego Cars and Doughnuts

How many times do you mess around with legos these days huh? Today and for the last two weeks I got to mess around with them and it was even for one of my classes which makes it even better. We were working on lean manufacturing which is meant to remove all wasted steps and time in a building process. Our class had to build two cars in 35 to 40 minutes while our first car took us 80 minutes. It took us a couple tries but today we finally got it. We built two cars in 36 minutes perfectly, all 1180 pieces. The best part now is our entire class gets doughnuts. Electric cars and racing are up next.

Gaming Day

Yesterday was my gaming and another day of escape. Finals week for school is here and everything stacking up. I done a total of 6 hours of hw before I got so sick of it I had to do games. Moder Warfare 2 became my new best friend. Zach and I both went on a 38 game winning streak with 8 nukes. The day was awesome and im looking forward to having another one soon.

New High Score

2 Days ago, bowling was my way of getting away. Troy, Matt, Zach and I all went to chippers for 4 games. All the games went by fast except for one. Everyone was bowling their usual except for me. I started my game with 4 strikes then hit the pocket perfectly for a 5^th but got left a 7 10 split. I got completely robbed and kinda pissed.  So I got one pin then told myself I was gonna pick the game back up and was I right. I went on to get 5 more strikes and then got robbed again on the tenth with another split. I got the pins I could and at the end my score was even higher then I had expected. 249 had become my new high score and I was jumping up and down yelling with excitement. 9 out of 12 strikes in one game is not too bad if I have to say so myself, and now I got something new to beat. Today I have leagues and I’m looking forward to trying to beat it, wish me luck.

Sledding anyone

3 Days ago my friends called me up to see if I wanted to hang out I told them sure but didn't know what we would do. I was told they had everything figured out but just meet them out by the lake. Was I sure glad I went to go hang out with them. As I walked up to the lake I saw everybody running up and down carrying snowboards and sleds. When I finally got to the top of the hill Brandon my neighbor handed me a sled told me to hold on then pushed me down the hill. I ended up rolling down the hill instead of sledding but either way it was fun. The next couple hours consisted of everyone starting snowball wars and sledding competitions. All of the excitement had taken my mind off where it needed to be. It gave me a break from hw and chores all day long. Best part is that these awesome snow days are becoming more frequent.
